Today was really busy at the cafe. I've spent the past couple of days feeling all annoyed and irritated at some things, so a busy, sweltering cafe didn't exactly cheer me up much. By the time I got home, I didn't have long to enjoy the sun, so I grabbed my guilty pleasure reading material and vegged out for a bit.

Easter is my least favourite 'holiday'. I'm not remotely Christian, so to us it was always about the chocolate eggs, and lately I just don't care for them. Mum always insists on buying something though, so I usually end up with a box of Malteasers. I just don't get the egg thing. If I wanted boring plain chocolate I'd grab a bar of Dairy Milk, which is infinitely more satisfying, y'know? And I don't work Monday-Friday 9-5 so the bank holidays and days off do nothing for me. I do however work Sundays regardless, so Easter Sunday is no different than any other Sunday to me.

In fact, the only thing remotely exciting about this weekend is the fact that Doctor Who starts again on Saturday and I absolutely can't wait.

Wow, this blog entry was a bit down. Sorry guys, I'm just a bit grumbly at the moment. I'll make up for it tomorrow if Good Friday at the cafe doesn't kill me.

Oh god I'd forgive easter everything if I only got those little Lindt bunnies.

I love cadbury mini eggs, but I don't know if you have them in the UK. They're little multi-colored solid-chocolate eggs with a candy shell that's always pastel. :D I love them. ^___^

And SWEET VALLEEEEEEY! ^_^ One of these days my goal is to collect all the Sweet Valley Twins & Friends Series. ;_;
