Life in Instagram...

(a day out in Lyme Regis with my Mum and Dad <3)

Okay, BEDA was a mixed success this year, but it got me back into blogging on a vaguely regular basis, so I'm grateful I gave it a go. I look back over my ancient journal entries (I've had this thing since 2001, when dean_r gave me a code as it was invite only) and I used to post several times a day. It was always random junk, mind you. Nowadays I don't post so much, but I try and craft my posts into interesting entries worthy of reading. It's hard because I'm sure half of you don't care about My Little Pony, the other half don't care about Doctor Who, and I'm sure a ton of you don't care about video games, my scribbled art attempts or photos of ducks. But, as always, this place is my little home on the internet, so I'm going to post about all those things and more, hopefully presenting them in a way that is at least skimmable even if you're not particularly a fan yourself.

For May onwards, I'm going to try out jdbracknell's '100 things' project. I've no idea what my topic will be so far, I'm torn between the dull '100 things I love' and '100 things I've not tried... until now!' The latter seems way more interesting, a chance to finally watch all the DVDs, play all the games and read all the books I've collected over the years. The trouble is, I'm not sure there's a hundred of those things, though I suppose if I include food, activities and new places to explore, I'll more that surpass the number. Heck, thanks to Moose, I've already tried a bunch of fish foods that I'd not tried my whole life (mum's allergic, so never gave me fish as a kid, and I grew up unwilling to try it until Moose nudged me on. Glad I did! Smoked Haddock is divine!)

Of course, there's no reason why I can't do both '100 things I love' and '100 things I've not tried... until now!' So maybe I will. Take that, procrastination!

{Take the 100 Things challenge!}

That actually sounds like a really cool challenge. Might try that myself.

It looks really fun. Any idea of what your 100 things will be?

I was thinking about doing 100 things I haven't experienced in a long time. Basically thinking about places I've been to, things I enjoy, but haven't experienced in years. Like Bowling. I love bowling, but haven't done in years. That kinda of thing.
