In which I talk about very little.

I spent pretty much all day at work today thinking 'WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM??' from bloody Gurren Lagann.

Some disembodied heads. I just discovered the 'wet sponge' brush in Photoshop, which is extremely fun to doodle with. Are there any other brushes I should check out? I rarely use anything other than the standard 'hard round'. And oh, it is impossible to draw Phoenix Wright without him turning Super Saiyan. Seriously, how the hell does his hair work?

Ooh, I just caught the Half Blood Prince trailer. Oh, man. I can't wait for this movie! The book was amazing and this trailer was suitibly chilling. And it's out in winter, too. I hated that the last movie was out in summer. Harry Potter movies are a Christmas thing, goddamn it.

And then there's that little Doctor Who Proms episode, which is short and cute and reminds me that I miss Doctor Who for far more reasons than it just not being on TV right now. That bloody series finale! But hey, he's in his blue suit here. That must Mean Things, right?

My car's back to screaming every time I turn her on. I'm talking wailing like a goddamned banshee. It's the fanbelt or the power steering or something. We're gonna have her looked at again, anyway, because it's embarrassing as all hell. If people want to turn and stare because she's an obnoxious pink 4x4, that's one thing, but turning their heads because she screams as I'm pulling away? No thanks. Stupid car.

I should go and do doctorwhy or something, I suppose. 12:33 and the night is young! (alternatively, it's 12:33 and I've spent yet another Friday night inside drawing and playing video games IT DON'T GET MORE EXCITING THAN THIS, GUYS.)

I love the old guy with the milk. And the long haired guy. Your drawing skills continue to amaze me! Wish I could draw D:

My mom's car used to scream when ignited as well. It was the fan belt. Get that looked at ASAP; if a fan belt snaps, it is generally Not a Good Thing. Take care of that gorgeous pink car (that I am jealous of)!

Also, that Proms episode was just adorable. Fourth wall breaking for the win!

Thing is, she used to do this a LOT and we got the whole fanbelt replaced. We keeeep getting the fanbelt tweaked. She really looks nice, but she's such a ...*sighs* piece of work.

And thanks :D I'd like to think I'm improving, I'm drawing more now than I have in a long time, so that's something.

I am so pissed I missed out on the Proms thing. I'd LOVE to have been there. Still, it's not like he was actually there on stage, otherwise I WOULD be kicking myself!

I've never seen your pink 4x4 before! ;.; Pics plz?

And why does the judge have milk? Is it evidence? o.O Its rather cute, and captures his "duh-buh-what?" personality quite well.

It's part of a comic strip I should get off my butt to draw. ;)

And I've posted some pics of Sheila (rapidly becoming Sheila Gurren-Edgeworth-You-Piece-of-Shit-stop-screaming-augh!) before;

Nerdcar!! :D

Doctor Who Proms episode
I would just like to leave a note to thank-you for posting the Doctor Who Proms link. I hadn't even heard of that special little episode had I not read your blog. (Which I found through Doctor Why. I'm not a stalker, I promise.)

I am majoring in music education and have secret plans to someday make my future students play as many Doctor Who-related things as possible. And this 7 minute episode has brought me so much music-nerdy-Doctor-Who-loving-joy. I can't really describe it. But, wow. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for bringing it to my attention.

I just saw the season finale tonight (because stupid America is 3 weeks behind) and my brain is mush. Such a brilliant episode! I won't say anything else, because I don't want to accidentally spoil it for people who may read the comments and haven't seen the episode, but... just wow...

I could go on, but I've probably freaked you out already.

Re: Doctor Who Proms episode
Not freaked out at all! It's awesome meeting new folks on LJ! I really wanted to go to the Proms, the tickets started at only £5 each but they were sold out so fast you wouldn't believe. Have you heard the whole thing? Apparently they had various (non Who related) pieces that related to the universe (like Holst's "The Planets" and such). I REALLY wish I could have been there!

The finale this year has really left me torn. I'm a total Doctor/Rose fan and I'm still not sure if I like or dislike what happened at the end with those two! However, the scenes at the end with Donna are some of the most powerful moments I have ever seen in a TV show and yes, I admit, I cried a little. :)

Anyway, sorry I was so late in replying! I get sidetracked so easily. ;) Nice to meet you!

Re: Doctor Who Proms episode
Nice to meet you too!

The proms and Hamlet are the TWO things I would LOVE to go see. And I was in Stratford in May, of all times! A month too early! I saw Midsummer Night's Dream... My program has advertisements for Hamlet! *siiigh*

Sorry... enough of those frustrations...

Until this season I was a total Rose/Doctor fan too, but I'm beginning to think I like Donna as a better companion. (Although I might just be partial to red hair.) I'm all about the Doctor and Rose being together (But I agree that how they arranged the last bit in the finale was kind of.... Odd.) but, I don't know... I just liked Donna's loud-mouthed gumption, and her sense of caring and loyalty. (I don't mean to sound like I'm contradicting myself... Um... Doctor/Rose = OTP. Doctor/Donna = Best of all best friends.) Haha!

... I remember declaring the choice of Donna as the Doctor's next companion to be the worst decision ever made. Oh, how wrong I was! Admittedly, I still don't like her very much in The Runaway Bride, but her character bloomed through out season 4 in a way I couldn't have imagined. :-)

I haven't heard all of the Proms Concert, but I will be looking into that soon. I love Holst, and I'm sure it was performed beautifully!

And no worries about how long it took to reply. I was happy that you did at all! :-) Thanks!

It means he had more than one blue suit when the Doctorman took one.

In fact it suggests he has a whole wardrobe full of blue and brown suits.
