Butterflies n' Candybars.

Twice as Fancy Times Two
by =reaperfox on deviantART

It's not much, but it's a start. I refuse to let this year go by without much to say for it, so the other day I sat down and forced myself to draw something... anything. So, here we have a horribly saturated picture of two My Little Ponies, Dancing Butterflies and Yum Yum.

We didn't get Yum Yum (or Bonnie Bonnets, Munchy, Buttons, or Nightglider) in the UK, so when I discovered the pony community online YEARS ago, they were all new and special. I think Yum Yum (and Nightglider) are among my favourite Twice as Fancy ponies. Of course, I'm always fonder of the US-release ones I discovered much later in life, because I hadn't grown up with them, I guess. I remember desperately wanting Firefly and Medley and never understanding why we never found them in the stores. Stupid Hasbro.

Also, I randomly came across this - have you seen them before? 8D

Firefly and Medley were US only?

We didn't get them in the UK - I guess Europe got the Italian versions? I'm not sure, but the proper ones weren't released here at all. Nor were Twilight and Sunbeam. I used to watch the cartoons and see all the merchandise and wonder why the hell I never had the ponies. :P

Hmmm.... interesting! Explains why I never had them as well and also explains why ponies like Twilight and Sunbeam are HTF, in a decent condition anyway!

I don't ever remember seeing Italian ponies here, which is odd as surely it would be cheaper to make and ship from Italy as opposed to HK.

Glory and Moondancer too, now that I think of it. I REALLY wanted Moondancer. Or Sparkler, Skyflier, Surprise, Heartthrob...

I have no idea! I have found lots of Italians second hand but I never bought 'em new as a kid (or had them bought for me, I mean).
